Our deepest condolences to your family. Although I didn't know him personally, his brother Jimmy is a very close friend and would tell me of his and Floro's escapades on a regular basis for over twenty years. He always sounded like a great guy and wish I could have known him. Our thoughts are with him and his family.
I just want to say that both my sister and I took part in a Level 1 Coaching Course down at Douglas Eyre in Walthamstow where we had the pleasure of meeting Flo's. The course duration was for 3 weekends in July 2011. Well let me say the overwhelming presences of this gentleman blew us away, he was so warm, Friendly, kind and very, very funny and he made us feel as though we had know him for years. I(Diane)was so horrified when I bumped into gentleman (whom was also on the same course)and had described flo as the really nice, cypriot tutor we had on the course had passed away. Well i could not believe what i was hearing and started bombarding him with numerous questions such as: How, why, what, where.... I was in complete and utter shock. It just shows you what an impact he made on our lives. I returned home that evening and contacted my sister Doreen immediately, who was on holiday in the carribean at the time. You can start to imagine how she felt when i broke the news to her. Flo had always picked two of us out in class, and made us feel so very special. To all his family and friend's who had the pleasure of knowing him alot longer that my sister and I, i can honestly say i can really imagine how you must be feeling and how you felt after hearing such sad news. The reason being is if we had know him for such a short time and have left such a heartfelt impact and know you all must be in bits. Also to Jodie Drabwell and her father John who we also had the pleasure of meeting and who we knew worked and was very close with Flo, our deepest sympathy to a wonderful man. I am so upset and sadden that i received this sad news late, as both my sister and I would have loved to have attended his funeral to show us respects to him and his family. He was a extremely great man for the little time we knew him and he will be missed and truly remembered. God rest his precious soul love Diane Anderson (nee DaCosta) & Doreen DaCosta

Floro, you absolutely made my entire childhood. Home was a warzone, and I could always come and spend time with you and Jimmy at the weekends and on holidays in Cyprus, you were the closest I ever had to brothers, and you always made everything normal. I have never forgotten a minute of our time together as children, the games you invented to keep us occupied for hours, Sergeants- and you made me laugh so much, I had to take three pairs of knickers to your house! I would never have got through it without you, Lolly... I wish i could have told you that. I will never stop missing you, magic man. See you again one day. x x x
May your soul rest in peace and harmony. You left your time here too early but at least you were doing something you loved so dearly. Give J.D. a forever huge hug from his mummy and may you both play football in heaven with cherished smiles on both your faces.
Sincere condolences for our family in the loss of Flo. He will never be forgotten. Much warmth and support from family Hajigeorghiou in Canada, and family Prieto in Cuba.
